Here’s the first set of wedding pictures from our photographer. Most of them are good but I’m less than thrilled with the posed picture of the groomsmen pointing at the camera. Not only did I feel like a fool when we did it, I also look a little too ferret-like in the photo (ah, my vanity gets me again).
(I’m trying out Picasa for photo hosting and so far so good. It’s got a simple editing tool that can be used to make quick fixes to pictures and it uploads at the click of a button)

Here are a couple of photos from the wedding.
We’ll upload the rest of them to a photo sharing site once we get them and I’ll post the link. You can click each photo to enlarge.

Michele and I got married on August 9th. It was one of the best days of my life. Once I get some pictures, I’ll put them up along with a recap of the weekend.
Here’s a photo I stole from my Dad’s blog.

Wedding
And a goofy video my sister made. Nothing like being reminded of some of my favorite haircuts.

No posting for a couple of days as we’re heading west towards the Hood Canal for a Thanksgiving extravaganza.
We got a house full of people, a turkey to fry and all of the fixings. My brother and a friend of ours from High School are in the air, winging their way towards Seattle as I type.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

This past weekend was a big one at the Chuckling Monkey household. On Friday night, atop the Space Needle, I surprised the soon-to-be Mrs Chuckling Monkey by getting down on one knee and asking her to marry me. Lucky me, she said yes.
Then on Saturday, I celebrated my 40th birthday. Talk about just beating the shot clock.
I owe a big debt of thanks to Alli for helping me get Michele to the top of the Needle. It was an elaborate ruse with a bunch of moving parts and I’m kinda surprised we pulled it of.
